How do the City States play? The City States force is built around a strong core of disciplined, rigorously trained soldiers, supported by massive Minotaurs, spellcasting giants, and mechanically enhanced veteran warriors. While they lack strong ranged support and only have one cavalry option, their infantry is one of the most efficient in the game thanks to a wide variety of unit types, formations, and special rules. Success lies in protecting your flanks and engaging your infantry line as soon as possible. Once in combat, the faction’s unique Strategic Stack allows you to sacrifice an activation in one area to pressure and double-activate in another.
